My pooch Pip has been visiting The Dog Stop since Sam opened and I am more than happy with the service provided. Sam is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always obliging with answering questions and offering advice. Pip isn’t particularly enthusiastic about her appointments (she is aging and grumpy after all), but Sam is encouraging and patient. Pip always comes out bathed, trimmed, pampered and preened. An excellent local business.
Sam has done a great job with our 13-week old puppy who hated grooming! Came back and looked and smelled amazing! Not only that when we groomed her last night and tonight she was a dream. Thank you so much!!
Just had both my dogs groomed and clipped today for the first time with Sam and she was brilliant with both dogs, especially our rescue dog Derby whose a gremlin when it comes to grooming!

Sam is so good with my pup! She has spent time and care getting him used to being at the groomers as he grows. She handles him with kind confidence and happily discusses my questions with me. I can tell his absolutely loves going to The Dog Stop as he drags me from my car to the door when we arrive! Thank you Sam!
The Dog Stop is a fantastic place to go to have your puppy pampered. The care for my dog is superb and the groom is tailored towards him as Sam Bell (owner and groomer) takes time to get to know the dog and the dog’s owner. I would highly recommend this as the place to go.
Sam did an amazing job with our 7-month-old Neo today. I booked him in to build his confidence after getting him just a few weeks before lockdown. He looks so shiny and smells amazing plus he let her do his nails something I have been battling with and failing for months. Thank you, Sam, we will definitely be bringing him back x
We feel like we’re leaving our beautiful boy Teddy with a friend that we trust impeccably. He always looks amazing when we pick him up and we get lots of comments on how nice he looks.

Sam at The Dog Stop is brilliant. Ziggy attended puppy grooms before he started his big boy grooms. She is absolutely fantastic with him and does an excellent job. He loves going to see her an comes back looking beautiful.
Took Turbo in for a trim today, he came back smelling nice had his hair lightly trimmed and his nails clipped.

Roma my old girlie. has been to Sam twice and each time I have been very please with how Roma looks after being groomed. Roma has some physical issues and needs a bit of extra care and attention and she gets both from Sam. there’s an empathy for Roma that Sam has which I think is quite rare. I’ve been to a few groomers in the 18 months that I’ve had Roma but none have come up to Sam’s standards. The salon is also unusual in that it is spacious and airy, an important feature during the summertime especially. I can thoroughly recommend The Dog Stop to all caring owners.
